Holi in NYC

Free Admission, Colors available at the venue.

March 31st, 2013 - Time to spring into Kerala Spa treatment or spend seven nights Maharaja Style.

Besides egg hunting, this Easter Sunday will offer more fun where people can immerse themselves in colors to celebrate the kick-off of spring. Be of any ethnicity come enjoy Bhangra music & dance with NYC Bhangra Dance Company's FREE Admission event on the occasion of the Indian festival of colors: Holi.

According to Tejinder Singh, Editor, India America Today and a prominent South Asian, "Despite varying beliefs on the origins of Holi, this festival celebrates spring with passion and love. I have honestly not seen anyone celebrate it better than Megha and the NYC Bhangra Dance Company."

IMPORTANT INFORMATION HOLI HAI 2013

This is NOT an event where you will be DRENCHED in COLORS…. its an introduction to colors, to the concept of Holi festival from India. It is an event where NYC Bhangra Dance Company is providing a platform to new artists to showcase their talent on stage. There will be more than just colors, food vendors, dance performances, music bands, raffle prizes, Bhangra dance lessons, Photography contest (more info coming soon), Henna tattoos, Art workshop for kids and more.

NO COLORS FROM OUTSIDE WILL BE ALLOWED ON THE PREMISES.

NYC Park’s and Recreation make this event possible for NYC Bhangra to showcase Indian culture. NYC Bhangra has to maintain the beauty of the Dag Hammarskjold Park as we continue to celebrate Holi Hai in it's 4th annual event on March 31st, 2013.
